About Me

I was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, and found my ultimate inspirational harmony in the adjacent town of Troutville, nestled in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains.

My artwork possesses a Renaissance spirit with ornate overlays, topography, and dreamlike, surrealistic quality.  I’ve learned that there are no rules in art, colors and the composition of elements are limitless.  There is a childlike wonder to some of my pieces, where whimsical humor shines through with sincerity. I’d like to be the type of artist that embraces the everyday beauty surrounding me. This is about my unique perspective on all I see—with the hope that others might find something equally intriguing in my interpretation.

Exhibits and Publications

Being a cancer survivor myself, I feel deeply committed to the healing and cure and will continue to donate my illustrations of hope to my local Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  Art has the power to uplift, heal and inspire.

I have been featured multiple times in Somerset Digital magazine, illustrated the children’s book, Unicorn Giraffe, which is on iTunes and blurb.com, as well as other art featured in Living the Photo Artistic Life magazine.
